Callaway nominated to play in U.S. Army All-American Bowl

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Marquez Callaway, a standout athlete for the Warner Robins Demons, is nominated to play in the 2016 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Callaway, who has offers to play football for at least half a dozen SEC schools, is one of 400 to players picked by the bowl’s selection committee. In September, 90 players will be chosen from the list of nominees to compete in the annual East-West All-Star matchup in San Antonio.

The game’s alumni include Andrew Luck, LeSean McCoy, Tim Tebow and Sammy Watkins.

The 2016 U.S. Army All-American Bowl begins January 9 at 1 p.m. on NBC.
