Summer-time Storms returning

The HEAT is ON!!!  I don’t know about yall, but I am not digging the early Summer preview.  The temperatures have soared into the low 90’s for most of us over the past few days.  Good news is, it will only last for another day or so.  The temperatures will come back down a bit into he 80’s for most of this week.  The good/bad news is, is that the humidity is coming back.  Why the good/bad news?  Well, its going to get sticky, humid, gross kind of feeling when going outside at times over the next week, but that is some good news because we need the rain chances.  This will help promote rain chances with highs in the 80’s in the afternoons.  There could be a very brief stronger storm, or possible Severe one with some gusty winds being the biggest threat with lightning.  Overall, I would say the chances of this are fairly low.  The storm chances will be low on Wednesday and Thursday, as the drier air wins, but by Friday we see the next round of humidity, warm temperatures and storm chances.  Storm chances looks to hang around the 7 day forecast quite a bit.  It seems like we are locking into a somewhat of a summer-time pattern.  Highs in the 80’s, lows in the 60’s, and afternoon storm chances with plenty of humidity.  Yay for summer!!  right??  -Chris

For the rest of tonight, a few storms are possible until around Midnight.  Some gusty winds and lightning being the worst thing possible with them.  Better chances tomorrow.
