Bibb deputies investigating shooting at Green Meadows Apartments

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting at Green Meadows Apartments.

Investigators say it happened Saturday just before midnight.

Timia Holloway, a resident of the complex, told deputies she was having a party at her apartment. Holloway went upstairs to put her child to bed. When she came back downstairs, she saw 24-year-old William Davis Jr. arguing with another man. Holloway told deputies Davis kicked in the front door. Holloway went upstairs to check on her child and then heard gunshots. She told deputies she did not see who fired the shots.

Deputies found Davis outside the complex with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
