Severe weather possible Friday

Another hot and humid day across Middle Georgia today.  High temperatures soared again into the upper 80’s to near 90 degrees.  There is a few showers and storms around, but very very, isolated.  That will change tomorrow with a nice cold front that will push through the area with more showers and storms.  Some of the storms could be Severe with hail and strong winds possibly.  The threat is not high, but is certainly possible.  The best time for the storms will be after noon tomorrow.  We should see temperatures make it back into the low to mid 80’s tomorrow.  

Another warm and muggy night folks, not much relief.  There will be a gentle breeze that will try to help “cool” us down, but won’t help a bunch.  Temperatures will only be in the 70’s tonight, and then back into the mid 60’s overnight tonight.

As we roll through your Friday and into the weekend, initially the weekend was going to be looking rough.  Now, the weekend looks pretty good at this point.  The weather will be fairly nice for the Dogwood Festival in Perry as well.  Highs over the weekend should get back down to the upper 70’s to near 80 for Saturday, and down into the mid 70’s after that.  Chances for rain and storms will really increase as we go into early and middle half of next week.  -Chris
