Bibb deputies arrest man for bus station robbery

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies made an arrest in a theft incident that happened Friday morning.

According to a news release, 21-year-old James Thompson of Michigan took an envelope from a 53-year-old victim after asking if he had a car.

The victim also says Thompson pulled several door handles of random cars to see if they were unlocked before taking the envelope.

Thompson was caught at the intersection of Gray Highway and Clinton Road near Second street.
