Kathleen man wins $10K playing Monopoly Game at Warner Robins McDonald’s
Tony Pham won by collecting both the Electric Company and Water Works game pieces.
The catch is there were only four of those matches in the entire country, according to Tm Bergl, the owner of McDonald’s on Watson Boulevard.
Pham’s 5-year-old daughter, Abigail, convinced him to play the game.
“We feel very blessed,” Pham says. “This is the first time we’ve won anything this big. It’s great. The whole family is very excited. This is our first time playing. We know they have this game every year, but this is the first time we actually paid attention to the pieces.”
Pham collected his money Saturday.
This is a new experience for Bergl, too.
“My family has been involved in McDonald’s since 1983,” he says. “It’s the first time we’ve ever had a big winner at one of our restaurants, so it’s very exciting.”
