Infant found dead at Macon home
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – An infant was found dead in a Macon home.
Two-month-old Jamel McCrary was not breathing Tuesday morning when his parents awaken, at their home located at 1312 Holt Avenue according to Bibb County Chief Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley.
Miley pronounced McCrary dead at 6:55 a.m.
He said the infant’s death has been ruled as “suspicious.” However, the coroner’s office does not suspect “foul play.”
“We always treat any child’s death as suspicious until an autopsy is performed,” said Miley.
An autopsy is scheduled to be performed Wednesday.
