Bobcat men’s tennis finishes season No. 23 in the nation
The Bobcats slid one spot to No. 23, finishing 14-8 overall and earning a bid to NCAA Southeast Regional. The Bobcats were fifth among the 10 Peach Belt Conference (PBC) schools listed, behind No. 5 Armstrong Atlantic State University, No. 6 Columbus State University, No. 8 Lander University and No. 22 GRU Augusta.
The Bobcats also had an individual and doubles pairing earn national-rankings positions. Sophomore Yannick Hass (Troisdorf, Germany) finished the season 15-5 in the first slot and took the No. 22 position in the country. Hass also teamed with senior Alex Schubert (Frankfurt, Germany) for a 13-8 mark and the No. 18 position, nationally.
The Bobcats were fifth in the region as well, with Hass coming in seventh in singles, and the Hass/Schubert duo positioned sixth.
