Spurs cruise to Game 3 win over Heat

MIAMI, Florida (41NBC/WMGT) – The San Antonio Spurs stormed out of the gate Tuesday, jumping out to a 71-50 halftime lead and cruising to an easy win.

The Heat (54-28) cut the deficit to ten in the third quarter but San Antonio was able to pull away again in the fourth, emerging with a 111-92 road win to take a 2-1 series lead in the NBA Finals.

Kawhi Leonard scored 29 points to lead the Spurs (62-20).  LeBron James and Dwayne Wade both had 22 for Miami. 

Game 4 is Thursday at 9.
