Bobcat baseball hangs on to top 30 rank

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. (GC ATHLETICS RELEASE) – The Collegiate Baseball Newspaper put out its most recent Division II Top-30 Rankings, with Georgia College (33-14) taking the No. 28 slot.

The Bobcats slid four slots with the 1-2 mark posted against the University of North Georgia last week.

Georgia College is fourth among four Peach Belt Conference (PBC) schools on the list, behind No. 2 Lander University, No. 10 Columbus State University and No. 11 USC Aiken.

The University of Tampa continues to hold down the top slot, thanks to a 47-2 record, the Bobcats handing the Trojans one of those two losses.
Georgia College is back in action Saturday, May 10 at 1:30 p.m. as the No. 4-seed Bobcats travel to Aiken, S.C. to start the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament against No. 5-seed UNC Pembroke.
