Macon-Bibb County Recreation Department Presents the BCS Championship Game on the Big Screen

MACON, Georgia (MACON-BIBB RELEASE) – Get your game face on and join us at Luther Williams Stadium in Central City Park on Monday, January 6 to watch a live broadcast of the BCS National Championship game on a 40′ movie screen! Fans are encouraged to bring grills, coolers, and friends to tailgate in the stadium parking lot Monday before the game and then head into the stadium at 6:00 p.m. to catch the pre-game before kickoff at 8:30 p.m.

This is a FREE event. (It will be cancelled if it rains.)

Bring the family out for an experience like no other! Concessions will not be available for sale , so we encourage attendees to tailgate beforehand or bring outside food and drink into the stadium. However we do ask you to not bring glass bottles. Fans may sit in the stands or on the field next to the fire pits. Whether you are a War Eagle or Seminole – or just a football fan – we are looking forward to seeing you on Monday night for the game!
