Mercer Football Eyes Fourth Straight Victory in Clash at Davidson
MACON, Ga. (MERCER RELEASE) – The wins continue to pile up as the Mercer University football team hits the road again Saturday, traveling to Davidson for a 1 p.m. matchup with the Wildcats at Richardson Stadium.
Riding a three-game winning streak, the Bears are looking to win their second-straight road contest against a winless Davidson program. Mercer finds itself in the hunt for the regular season championship, sitting just one half game behind Butler for the conference lead and even with the Bulldogs in the loss column.

Picked ninth in the Pioneer Football League preseason poll, Davidson (0-8, 0-5 PFL) is still looking for its first win of the season.
The Wildcats have lost their five conference games byan average of 31 points and are scoring just 12.63 points per game on the season.
