Weather Service confirms Saturday Wilkinson County Tornado

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has confirmed an EF-0 tornado touched down over South-Central Wilkinson County on during Saturdays storms.

A pre-frontal mini-supercell spawned the tornado that brought down some trees between hwy 96 and hwy 441.

It is estimated that the tornado touched down around 5:16 pm Saturday and lifted around 5:23 pm.
