GC Men’s Cross Country Moves Up in Regional Poll

NEW ORLEANS (GCSU RELEASE) – The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its latest regional poll Tuesday, with the Bobcat men moving up one spot to seventh in the Southeast Region.

This is the third consecutive week Georgia College has been ranked in the poll, after being eighth the previous two weeks.

Mount Olive College remains atop the poll, with five Peach Belt Conference (PBC) schools on the top-10. Columbus State University and GRU Augusta sit second and third, while Georgia College is sandwiched between Flagler College and UNC Pembroke.

The Bobcats will be back in action this Friday, Oct. 4 when they travel to Aiken, S.C. to compete in the USC Aiken Invitational.
