GC Men’s Cross Country Remains Eighth in Region Poll

NEW ORLEANS (GCSU RELEASE) – The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its regional poll Tuesday, with the Georgia College men holding tight in the eighth position in the Southeast Region.

This will be the second-consecutive week the Bobcats take a spot in the regional rankings, after running away with the title at the Pop Crowell Invitational, Sept. 21.

Mount Olive College holds on to the top spot, with six Peach Belt Conference Schools (PBC) ranked in the top-10. GRU Augusta sits in the number two slot, while Columbus State University remains fifth. Flagler College holds on to the seventh position, with Clayton State University and UNC Pembroke rounding out the top-10.

The Bobcats will be back in action Oct. 4, when they travel to Aiken, S.C. to compete in the USC Aiken Invitational.
