Bobcat Soccer Named #8 In Region
KANSAS CITY (GCSU RELEASE) – The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) released its national and regional rankings Tuesday, with Georgia College soccer and head coach Hope Clark (1-1) taking the No. 8 slot in the Southeast Region Poll.
The Bobcats are fourth among Peach Belt Conference (PBC) schools with No. 1 Armstrong Atlantic State University leading the way. The University of North Georgia is fifth, with Columbus State University coming in sixth.
The Bobcats are 1-1 after a tough 1-0 loss at perennial power Barry University followed by a 3-1 victory at Nova Southeastern University.
The Bobcats are back in action Friday, Sept. 13 hosting Pfeiffer University at 7:30 p.m. for the Bobcat home opener. Friday also marks the beginning of the Bobcat Shootout at Bobcat Field.
