MGSC Softball Starts Playoffs Thursday

MACON, Georgia (SCHOOL RELEASE) – Knights softball plays against Gordon at 3PM on Thursday the 25th with the winner playing at 7PM against Darton. 

The team had an awesome season finishing at 30-17 in the regular season while Freshman shortstop Kayla Bawkin finished 2nd in the nation in homeruns with 21 and 11th in the nation in RBI with 65 while leading the conference in both categories. 

Sophomore outfielder Adele Harrison led the team and conference in hits and triples. 

The team finished 6th in the nation in homeruns with 60 on the season and second in Middle Georgia College history with four players in the top 7 in the conference with Julie Bradley and Keri Tompkins each hitting 11 and Susanna Stokes adding 10 more.
