Mother Accused of Killing Three Kids in House Fire Granted Bond

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon mother accused of killing her three children in a house fire was granted bond Thursday.

A Bibb County judge set Colethia Williams bond at $75,000 with some restrictions. She’s not allowed to have any unsupervised contact with children. She is allowed to have supervised visits with her three-year-old son J’Lon three days a week for two hours at a time. Her lawyer says this will help with the healing process.

“She’s able to get out and see her child, J’Lon. He’s three years old and he misses his mother so it’s a good opportunity for her to get out, start being with him, healing,” Reza Sedghil said. “He’s lost his sisters and brothers, as least we didn’t want him to lose his mother.”

Williams is facing three counts felony murder, four counts of child cruelty in the second degree, and one county of making false statements.
