Central Georgia Autism and Big Ring Racing to Host First Journey Century Ride
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Central Georgia Autism and Big Ring Racing will hold the first ‘Journey Century Ride for Autism.’ It’s an event promoting autism awareness and it’s open to cyclists of all abilities. John Cozart with Big Ring Racing and Janet Ward of Central Georgia Autism stopped by Daybreak with all the details.
The event will accommodate cyclists starting out to as little as 3 miles. However, the ride is mapped out at 33, 66, and 100 mile distances.
Ride day registrations starts at 7A.M. Saturday, April 6. The fun will take place at Sandy Beach Park at Lake Tobesofkee. All proceeds from the ride will benefit the CGA scholarship program.
