MPD Identifies Suspect Accused of Luring Man to Church for Sex, Robbery

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Milledgeville police need the community’s help to find a woman they say lured a man to a church for sex and then robbed him.

Major Reginald Hill tells 41NBC Ariel Williams told the victim, Lavoris Latoris Cummings, to meet her behind the New Beginnings Worship Center off Southside Drive on Monday, March 18th. Cummings told police he was meeting Williams for sex.

Officers say when he got out of the car, two masked men came from the woods and started beating him in the head with guns. Police say they stole Cummings’ keys, wallet, and $240. His wallet and keys were found at the scene.

Church members found Cummings heavily bleeding, dazed, and confused. Police say he was bleeding from the left eye, the front of his head, and from a gash on the back of his head.

Hill says Williams has been on the run since the incident, but police know she is still somewhere in Baldwin County.

“We know she’s had contact with family members, friends but we have been unable to locate her as of yet, but we are confident that we will have her in custody before long,” Hill said.

Hill says Cummings knew the suspect. Police are also working to identify the two masked men.
