Hair Cuts In Middle Georgia To Support Kids Fighting Cancer

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – If you need to get a haircut, wait until Saturday or Sunday this week and head to one of 11 Great Clips to get it done.

A Macon family whose daughter was a two-time cancer survivor when she was only six years old is hosting an event called the ‘Blessing of the Birds’ to support their non-profit Radiation Vacation.

The Slavin family began Radiation Vacation after their daughter Holly spent too much time in the hospital for a six year old girl. Radiation Vacation is the family’s way to help other families going through the struggles of a child fighting cancer.

This weekend’s Blessing of the Birds is an opportunity for you to help these families. A portion of money from your haircut will go toward supporting Radiation Vacation and its mission to help others.
