Two Peach County High School Seniors to Play College Football

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Peach County High School celebrated two seniors Wednesday as they committed to play college football.

Tight end Malcolm Colvin signed the paperwork to play for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The new Moc can’t wait to take the field and join his new football family.

“Once I went up on my visit, I saw it was real team oriented, team family, and its kind of like what we have here now, a big family and I just felt right at home,” Colvin said.

Center Dylan Leach committed to play for Sewannee: The University of the South. He says he’s a little nervous to tackle a new school, but it excited for the new experience.

“Just the atmosphere of being in a new state, new stadium, playing in front of new fans, and trying to win them over playing football,” Leach said.

Head coach Chad Campbell says these boys played a big part in their most successful four year run. The team won 52 games and only lost five.

“These guys right here meant a lot to our football program these last four years,” Campbell said. “It’s been a very successful four years for us and we’re ecstatic for them and their families.”

Wide receiver Demarcus Robinson is playing for the University of Florida. He’s already signed and enrolled in classes there.

Campbell expects a few more of his players to commit to college ball soon.
