Hawks Sign Former Georgia Tech Player Muhammad

ATLANTA (AP) – The Atlanta Hawks have signed former Georgia Tech standout Isma’il Muhammad on the eve of training camp.

General manager Danny Ferry announced the move Monday. The 6-foot-6 Muhammad is an Atlanta native who played at Georgia Tech from 2001-05. The swingman has played professionally in Europe, South America, the Middle East and New Zealand.

The Hawks have 19 players on their training camp roster.
