Juvenile shot on Lynmore Avenue in Macon, deputies investigating

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A juvenile was shot Thursday afternoon on Lynmore Avenue in Macon, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The shooting happened just before 3 p.m. on November 5 in the 600 block of Lynmore Avenue.

Deputies responded to reports of a person shot and found a juvenile male suffering from a gunshot wound.

Deputies provided aid until paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment.

According to medical staff, the victim is listed in stable condition.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
