Reynolds: Traffic signals out at Highway 96 and Highway 128

In Reynolds, police warned drivers that traffic signals at the intersection of Georgia Highway 96 and Georgia Highway 128 are not working because of a power outage.

Police say the signals will remain out of service until power is restored and urged motorists to slow down and use extreme caution when approaching the intersection.

Authorities specifically warned drivers not to assume cross traffic will stop.

In Hancock County, the sheriff’s office reported trees down on Linton Road.

The sheriff’s office said power crews were working to restore service while deputies assisted with traffic in the area.

The reports come as Isaias continues moving north, leaving communities to deal with scattered damage and power disruptions.

Officials are asking residents to remain cautious around downed trees, damaged power lines, and intersections where traffic signals may not be working.

Additional closures and outages could be reported as crews continue assessing damage.
