MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – From the Georgia National Fair and a food festival featuring dozens of food trucks to a fashion show, pickleball celebration and a clothing business workshop for high school students, there are plenty of events happening across the area.
Georgia National Fair
The Georgia National Fair is already underway in Perry and continues through October 18, 2026.
The fair is taking place at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Perry.
Visitors can enjoy concerts, live entertainment, livestock, carnival rides, fair food and activities for the entire family.

2026 Rally for Good Player Party
The 2026 Rally for Good Player Party is happening Friday, October 9, at 6 p.m. at Rhythm & Rally, 3661 Eisenhower Parkway in Macon.
The event celebrates the players, partners, supporters and community members involved with the 2026 Rally for Good Series.
The evening will feature the Rally for Good Awards Ceremony, pickleball matches, cornhole, games, music, hors d’oeuvres, raffle prizes and two drink tickets.
Admission is $35 in advance or $40 at the door.
FoodeesFest
Foodies will have plenty to choose from this weekend as FoodeesFest comes to Macon.
The festival runs Friday, October 9, through Sunday, October 11, at the Shoppes at River Crossing in Macon.
More than 40 food trucks and craft vendors are expected, offering everything from gourmet dishes and sweet treats to handmade jewelry, art and other crafts.
The event is free to attend and is designed to offer fun for the entire family.
A New Me Fashion Show
The A New Me Fashion Show returns for its sixth annual event Saturday, October 10, at the Historic Douglass Theatre, 355 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Macon.
The event celebrates transformation, resilience and new beginnings while highlighting the journeys of returning citizens.
Organizers say the event combines fashion, inspiring stories and a community-centered atmosphere to recognize people who have overcome adversity.
Admission is $30.
Youth Brand Lab: 2-Day Clothing Business Workshop
High school students interested in fashion and entrepreneurship can take part in the Youth Brand Lab beginning Saturday, October 10, from 9 to 11 a.m.
The workshop will be held at Incisura Clothing & Accessories in Macon.
The two-day hands-on program teaches students how to create, brand, produce, market and sell their own clothing brand.
Students will learn about setting up a business, creating a brand name and logo, fabric selection, clothing production, pricing, marketing and sales.
Each registered student will receive a T-shirt and shorts, a digitized logo for embroidery and hands-on production experience.
