For the first time since Saturday afternoon some sun will be back around Middle Georgia. In fact conditions should be sunnier than any point this past weekend. Temperatures will climb into the lower 80s and upper 70s around the region. Expect a breezy afternoon as the wind flows from the east-northeast at 5-15 mph. Gusts should push to around 20 mph. While rain is unlikely a stray shower is possible over the southern parts of Middle Georgia.

Wednesday and Beyond

Pleasant conditions are likely Wednesday and Thursday as mostly sunny skies stay with Middle Georgia to go with temperatures that are a bit above average in the afternoon (low to mid 80s). Cloud cover will likely return Friday ahead of what could be another wet weekend.

Watching the Tropics

An area of disturbance in the Bay of Campeche designated Invest92L has 60% odds to become a Tropical Depression within the next 48 hours and 80% odds within the next 7 days. Regardless of how intense this thing should become it is projected to move towards the US Gulf Coast late this week/into the weekend. Of course other hazards may become possible should this become Tropical Storm Isaias/Hurricane Isaias, but for now the main impact for Georgia is looking like a lot of rain. This is a developing situation and more will become clear throughout this week.
