GBI says CyberTip led to arrest of Byron man in child exploitation case

The GBI says Tracy Robert Fuller, 34, faces two counts of child molestation and two counts of second-degree cruelty to children.

BYRON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Byron man as part of a child exploitation investigation.

The GBI says 34-year-old Tracy Robert Fuller is charged with two counts of child molestation and two counts of second-degree cruelty to children.

Fuller was arrested September 30 and booked into the Peach County Jail.

According to the GBI, the investigation began in April after its Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The tip involved possible online possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material. The GBI says the investigation that followed led to Fuller’s arrest.

The Peach County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force in Macon and Bibb County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation.

The case is part of an ongoing effort by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, which is housed within the GBI’s Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit.
