There have been more clouds this afternoon than any day so far this week however the odds for rain through the evening and into tonight remain very low. A handful of clouds will stick around as the wind flows out of the southeast at around 5 mph. Temperatures will valley in the mid to upper 60s across the region and fog is likely into the sunrise hours tomorrow.

The end of the week will be the cloudiest day however when fog lifts there should be a decent amount of sunshine. Temperatures will climb into the upper 80s and lower 90s around Middle Georgia again although most locations should be a degree or two cooler than Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Showers and storms are likely to begin around lunchtime, becoming a bit more widespread through the evening hours. Severe weather is not expected although the most intense storms may bring a strong wind gust or two. The ambient wind will flow out of the south-southeast at 5-10 mph.

More fog is likely into Saturday morning as well.

Storm odds will ramp up greatly this weekend as a cold front combined with the remnants of Hurricane Polo move through the east coast of the US. Most of Middle Georgia will likely receive between 1-2 inches of rain with a few spots seeing locally higher amounts. The clouds and rain odds will stick around into early next week before more sunshine returns. Aside from flash flooding potential severe weather is not expected with any rain this weekend, however the most intense storms may still bring a few strong wind gusts.
