MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Above average temperatures are likely again Tuesday afternoon even as overnight conditions remain below normal for this time of year.

This Evening

A sunny afternoon will become another clear and cool night around Middle Georgia. Overnight temperatures this past weekend got cooler than expected around much of the region and that trend will likely continue tonight. Temperatures should valley in the mid 50s around the region. The wind will be light out of the northeast around 5 mph.

Tomorrow

Tuesday will be another sunny and warm afternoon as temperatures push the upper 80s across Middle Georgia. The warmest spots may hit 90. The real feels should be about the same as the actual temperatures however as dew points remain in the 40s and 50s. The wind will be light out of the east-northeast around 5 mph.

Overnight will be clear and still a bit below normal with lows expected in the upper 50s for most of Middle Georgia. Light wind will continue out of the east-northeast.

Wednesday and Beyond

Wednesday will be a mostly sunny and warm day as well however a few more clouds are likely and a stray shower will be possible in the afternoon. That will be the first opportunity for any rain this week. The odds for rain will gradually increase later this week with the potential for a wet weekend on the rise.
