The End Zone Week 4: Warner Robins visits Northside in Game of the Week

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Week 4 of 41NBC’s The End Zone will feature Warner Robins at Northside as the Game of the Week Friday, along with highlights from six more Middle Georgia matchups.
41NBC sports anchor Rob Schiff and Chief Meteorologist Aaron Lowery will report live from McConnell-Talbert Stadium during 41NBC News at 5, 5:30 and 6.
Bill Shanks will have Friday night’s highlights from the studio during 41NBC News at 11. Tucker Sargent will have highlights from Southwest at ACE, while Rob will report from the Game of the Week.
The End Zone will also feature the Linemen of the Week, Band of the Week and scores from around Middle Georgia.
Game of the Week: Warner Robins at Northside
Warner Robins enters the rivalry game with a 2-0 record under head coach Shane Sams.
The Demons beat Northeast 21-20 last week after opening their season with a 34-23 win over Veterans.
Northside is 1-1 under head coach Daniel “Boone” Williams. The Eagles lost to Mays 23-9 last week after opening the season with a win.
Warner Robins leads the series 43-25 and has won nine straight meetings, including a 22-13 victory last season.
Northside’s last win in the series came in 2016, when the Eagles beat Warner Robins 55-3.
Jones County at Houston County
Jones County will look for its first win after opening the season with two losses. The Greyhounds fell to Peach County 42-19 last week.
Houston County is 1-0 after having last week off. The Bears opened their season with a 38-14 win over West Forsyth in the Corky Kell Classic.
Houston County leads the series 4-3, but Jones County won the teams’ most recent meeting 42-3 in 2017.
Howard at Perry
Howard enters Friday’s game with a 1-1 record. The Huskies lost to Valdosta 56-6 last week after beating Southwest 27-6 in their opener.
Perry is 0-2 after losses to Peach County and Dublin. The Panthers have won five straight meetings against Howard.
Southwest Georgia Academy at Westfield
Southwest Georgia Academy enters the game with a 2-0 record after beating Calhoun County 64-40 last week. The Warriors have scored 116 points through their first two games.
Westfield is 2-1 under head coach Chad Campbell. The Hornets lost to FPD 21-13 last week after opening the season with two wins.
George Walton at FPD
George Walton enters the matchup with an 0-2 record. The Bulldogs fell to Valdood 38-0 last week after losing to Loganville 28-6 in their season opener.
FPD improved to 2-1 with a 21-13 win over Westfield last week. The Vikings also beat Deerfield-Windsor 13-0 earlier this season.
George Walton and FPD last played in 2013.
Brookstone at Stratford
Stratford and Brookstone will meet in a rematch of last season’s state championship game, which the Eagles won 14-7.
Stratford is 2-0 under head coach Paul Carroll and has scored 81 points through two games. The Eagles were off last week after beating Pacelli 46-14.
Brookstone is 0-3 after losing to Glenwood of Alabama 49-19 last week.
Southwest at ACE
ACE enters Friday’s game with a 2-0 record under head coach Keith Hatcher. The Gryphons beat Washington County 23-20 last week after opening the season with a 45-13 win over Wilkinson County.
Southwest is 0-1 after having last week off. The Patriots lost to Howard 27-6 in their opener.
ACE has won two straight meetings against Southwest, including a 35-21 victory last season.
