UPDATE: Woman arrested in connection with Maynard Street shooting death

UPDATE (9/28/2026): A woman has been arrested in connection with the August shooting death of 45-year-old Dan Anderson, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say 30-year-old Antoneshia Lequia Redding was arrested Saturday, September 26, by the sheriff’s office Special Investigations Unit and Gang Unit.

Redding is charged with murder, deposit account fraud and theft by taking. She is being held without bond at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

Anderson was found suffering from a gunshot wound inside a home in the 1100 block of Maynard Street on August 29. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

UPDATE: The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office identified the man found dead Saturday as 45-year-old Dan Anderson.

Deputies say they responded to investigate a report of shots being fired inside a home and found the man with a gunshot wound. He was declared dead at the scene.

Deputies say his family has been identified.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A man was found shot to death Saturday in the 1100 block of Maynard Street in Macon, according to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones.

Jones told 41NBC the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office received a call about the shooting. Chief Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley pronounced the man dead.

The man’s name is being withheld until his family is notified.
