Tattnall Trojans off to hot start with back-to-back wins

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Tattnall Trojans went winless in 2025, but that won’t be the case this season as Head Coach Barney Hester and the crew are off to a 2-0 start in 2026.

The Trojans have outscored their opponents 82-9 so far this year with back-to-back dominant victories at home, and Tattnall is looking to keep building on that momentum this Friday night against Bulloch Academy.

“We’re a little stronger, a little faster, and a little bigger than we were last year, so you get those things and you’re naturally gonna be a little better,” Hester said. “We’re nowhere where we need to be, but I think we’re getting better. I think we’re playing better each week, and hopefully we can play better this week.”

“Man, this team is all about energy, and when there’s energy on that field, there’s nothing we can’t do,” Senior lineman Jaedon Barajas added. “I think confidence after two wins is definitely unmatchable, and coming into this third game I feel like that will help us a lot.”
