Body found at Flint River Bridge in Taylor County

The sheriff's office ays it was assisted by GBI, Butler Fire/Rescue and DNR in recovering a deceased individual.

TAYLOR COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) —A body was found Friday afternoon in Taylor County.

According to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, it received a call around 2 p.m. of a possible drowning at the Flint River Bridge located at Highway 128, at the Crawford and Taylor County line.

The sheriff’s office says it was assisted by GBI, Butler Fire/Rescue and DNR in recovering a deceased individual.

They say the investigation is in its early stages, and no further information is available at this time.
