TELFAIR COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Telfair County School District is investigating a threatening robo-call message that was received overnight, according to district officials.

In a statement, the district said the automated message was received by multiple school districts across Georgia.

School officials said they immediately notified the appropriate law enforcement agencies, which are investigating the threat and clearing all school buildings.

The district said it plans to resume normal operations Friday and will hold its scheduled open houses as planned on July 31.
