‘Watermelon Crawl’ singer Tracy Byrd coming to Georgia National Fair

The October 16 performance begins at 7:30 p.m., is included with fair admission and falls on Ride Armband Day.

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Georgia National Fair has completed its 2026 concert announcements with country singer Tracy Byrd.

Byrd, known for songs like “Watermelon Crawl” and “Ten Rounds with Jose Cuervo,” will perform Friday, October 16, at 7:30 p.m. on the Georgia National Stage. The concert is included with fair admission.

Gate admission that day is $15 for people ages 11 and older and $5 for children ages 3 through 10.

October 16 is also Ride Armband Day. Fairgoers who purchase an armband to ride throughout the day.

Other performers announced for this year’s fair include Lonestar, Hanson, Darryl Worley, Fuel, Tucka and Jesse McCartney.
