Peach County poised for successful run in 2026

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Peach County football team has won 21 games over the past two seasons, and the Trojans are poised for another successful campaign in 2026.
According to Head Coach Marquis Westbrook, 14 returning starters will be on the field for Peach County this season, with several others who played a large chunk of minutes for the Trojans in 2025. With a battle tested group, the ceiling for this year’s squad remains extremely high in Fort Valley, and a state title is well within their sights.
“Between those white lines, I think our kids are are good enough to compete with anybody in 4a football,” Westbrook said. “We have to focus on off the field, and doing the little things right, and treating our bodies right, rehabbing, doing all of the things right that we’re supposed to do off the field, and that’ll take us to where we’re supposed to be.”
The Trojans kick off the regular season on the road in Perry on Aug. 21.
