FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Interstate 75 southbound is closed between mile markers 183 and 181 following a crash involving six cars and two tractor-trailers, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
One of the tractor-trailers overturned, with entrapment reported. The sheriff’s office said the information is preliminary.
As of 5:23 p.m. Monday, 511GA showed southbound delays stretching from Exit 186 at Juliette Road and Tift College Drive to Exit 181 at Rumble Road.
The sheriff’s office is asking drivers to avoid the area and has not provided an estimated time for the lanes to reopen.
