EchoPark Speedway gears up for next weekend’s night race

HAMPTON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The racetrack at EchoPark Speedway will be the place to be this month as thousands of NASCAR fans will start making their way to Hampton as early as next Monday.
The night race brings in people from all over the globe, and fans begin camping days ahead of Sunday’s event.
“For us, its making sure that when the fans get here, we’re not just able to meet their expectations but exceed them,” EchoPark Speedway Executive Vice President and General Manager Brandon Hutchison said. “Everything that we do – from the drop of the checkered flag – we get ready for the next one. We’ve been doing that since last Summer, and we’re looking forward to the fans. It’s gonna be a big weekend.”
Hampton’s track was reinforced with steeper bankings in 2021, which allows drivers to maintain higher speeds around the corners, and creates a thrilling atmosphere for both the drivers and the fans in the stands.
The night race will take place Sunday evening, Jul 12.
