Coroner: 21-year-old dies after fall through roof on Eisenhower Parkway

Coroner Leon Jones says the man was pronounced dead at the scene and his name has not been released.

UPDATE: The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says the call for assistance came into the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center at 7:18 p.m. Tuesday.

Deputies responded to Builders FirstSource at 1641 Eisenhower Parkway after a report that a man had fallen while working on a roof site, according to the sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s office says paramedics responded to help the unresponsive 21-year-old man.

According to Chief Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley, the man died from his injuries.

The sheriff’s office says the fall remains under investigation.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A 21-year-old man died after falling through a roof Tuesday at Builders FirstSource on Eisenhower Parkway, according to Macon-Bibb Coroner Leon Jones.

Jones says the fall happened at 1641 Eisenhower Parkway just after 7 p.m.

According to Jones, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man’s name has not been released because his next of kin has not been notified.
