Bacon win third straight on ‘Strike Out Cancer’ Night

The Bacon defeated Greenville, 15-8, on Friday night at Luther Williams Field.

 

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – On an emotional night at Luther Williams Field, The Bacon sent the fans home happy with a thrilling 15-8 victory over Greenville. It was Macon’s third straight victory, with all three wins coming at home this week.

After tying the game in the third, the Bacon loaded the bases in the fourth inning, and with two outs Charles Cassingham crushed a bases-clearing double to left field to give Macon a 5-2 lead.
