GSP: Three hospitalized after fiery Dodge County crash
Georgia State Patrol says the crash happened Tuesday afternoon at Legion Drive and Georgia 87 in Eastman.

EASTMAN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Three people were taken to a hospital Tuesday afternoon after a three-vehicle crash in Dodge County that caused one vehicle to catch fire.
According to Georgia State Patrol, the crash happened at 2:05 p.m. Tuesday.
GSP says a white Nissan Altima was traveling east on Legion Drive and trying to turn left onto Georgia 87, also known as Griffin Avenue. That’s when GSP says the Altima failed to yield to a black BMW SUV traveling north on Georgia 87, and the two vehicles collided.
The crash caused the Altima to enter the southbound lane of Georgia 87, where it was hit head-on by a blue Volkswagen Beetle. The Volkswagen caught fire after the crash. The BMW ran off the road onto the east shoulder and struck a utility pole, according to GSP.
The driver of the BMW was treated at the scene by EMS.
GSP says the driver of the Altima and both people in the Volkswagen were taken to Dodge County Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
