Deputies search woods after Monroe County traffic stop

Deputies say Timothy McMillian fled from a traffic stop, crashed his vehicle and ran into a wooded area.

MONROE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents near Rumble Road and Pea Ridge Road to be on the lookout for a man who ran from a traffic stop Tuesday.

The sheriff’s office says Timothy McMillian fled from a traffic stop, crashed his vehicle and then ran into a wooded area.

Deputies say McMillian is about 6 feet tall and weighs around 210 pounds.

The sheriff’s office is asking anyone who sees McMillian or knows where he is to call 911 or the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office at (478) 994-7010.
