Wonderful weather expected Wednesday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Sunny skies and pleasant breezes will accompany below average temperatures Wednesday afternoon.
This Evening
Partly cloudy skies will stick around through the evening with the possibility for a handful of showers and storms. Storms should remain below the severe limit however the most mature ones may bring a few relatively strong wind gusts or small hail. Cloud cover will work to clear out leading int the sunrise tomorrow. Temperatures will valley in the upper 50s for most of the region, or close to 10 degrees below wake up temperatures just this morning! The wind will flow from the east-northeast at 5-10 mph with gusts reaching upwards of 15 mph.
Tomorrow
Wednesday should be a fully sunny day across Middle Georgia save for a few remaining clouds from Tuesday night around sunrise. Temperatures will peak in the upper 70s and lower 80s, or close to 10 degrees below average for this time of year. The wind will be a bit breezy from the northeast at around 5-15 mph. Those looking to enjoy time in the unseasonably cool weather should still wear sunscreen as the UV index will be around 9.5. That translates to 30 minutes or less before burning begins for those unprotected.
Overnight will be mostly clear with temperatures dropping to their coolest level in weeks as lows will be in the low to mid 50s across the region. The wind will be light and variable.
Thursday
Another sunny day is expected Thursday although it will be a bit warmer with highs expected in the low to mid 80s. Temperatures will begin to rebound along with the humidity starting Friday as the wind returns to out of the southeast. Storm odds should remain low until the back half of the coming weekend.
