Scattered storms are ongoing around Middle Georgia this evening with more expected heading into the overnight hours. Isolated severe activity in the form of a few wind gusts or some hail is possible with the most intense storms. Frequent cloud-ground lightning is likely. Most activity should taper off by midnight. Temperatures will valley in the mid to upper 60s accompanied by light wind from the south-southeast. Fog is likely heading into the sunrise Tuesday.

Tomorrow

Expect a foggy and cloudy start to the day before some clearing occurs heading into lunchtime. Temperatures are likely to peak in the mid to upper 80s again when scattered storms begin to fire up. Most if not all of the region will see rain. Severe odds will be the same as mentioned above. The concern for flash flooding will also continue to increase, especially in the southeastern counties which have already seen 5+ inches through this past weekend.

Overnight a few storms will linger with activity likely to taper off after midnight. Temperatures will bottom out in the mid to upper 60s as the wind flows lightly from the south-southeast. Fog is likely to settle in again leading into the sunrise on Wednesday.

Wednesday and Beyond
