RECALL WATCH LIST: Ice cream, seasoning and children’s stools among products recalled
New safety alerts: Food and children’s furniture recalled across U.S.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Ice Cream, seasoning, noodles and children’s stools: Consumers are being urged to check their homes after a series of new product recalls affecting popular food brands and a children’s furniture item.
Straus Family Creamery recalls ice cream for metal fragments
Straus Family Creamery has recalled several flavors of its organic ice cream due to the potential presence of metal fragments. The recall affects Vanilla Bean, Strawberry, Cookie Dough, Dutch Chocolate, and Mint Chip varieties, sold in both pint and quart sizes. The impacted products have “best by” dates between December 23rd and December 30th and were distributed to stores in 17 states since May 4th, according to the FDA. No injuries have been reported. Consumers are advised to throw away any affected ice cream and contact Straus Family Creamery for a replacement voucher.
Blackstone Parmesan Ranch Seasoning recalled over salmonella risk
Blackstone Products is recalling certain lots of its Parmesan Ranch Seasoning after the discovery that they contain powdered milk involved in a previous salmonella-related recall. The recall covers three lots sold nationwide at Walmart and through Blackstone’s website, with “best by” dates ranging from July 2, 2027, to August 12, 2027. No illnesses have been reported to date. The company advises consumers to discard the seasoning and contact Blackstone for a replacement.
Fly By Jing Creamy Sesame Noodles recalled for peanut cross-contact
A voluntary recall has been issued for Fly By Jing Creamy Sesame Noodles due to possible cross-contact with peanuts, posing a risk to people with peanut allergies. The recalled product was sold both online and in stores, including Whole Foods and Thrive Market. Affected noodles come in single packs and 4-packs, with “best by” dates from October 2026 through March 2027. No other Fly By Jing noodle flavors or sauce products are included in the recall. Consumers can return the product for a full refund.
Cosyland Children’s Tower Stools recalled for safety hazards
More than 125,000 Cosyland children’s tower stools are being recalled after reports that the stools can tip over or collapse, and the openings are large enough for a child’s torso to slip through. At least eight children have been injured, with reported injuries ranging from scrapes to a broken arm. The recall includes natural bamboo and gray stools, about 35 inches tall, sold on Amazon between April 2021 and November 2025 for about $70. Cosyland is offering a free repair kit to address the safety issue.
