GSP investigating deadly Dodge County crash

Investigators say a GMC Sierra crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a Dodge Ram.

DODGE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A person was killed in a head-on crash Thursday morning in Dodge County, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

GSP says troopers were called around 7:24 a.m. to Middle Ground Church Road near Plainfield Road to investigate a two-vehicle crash. Investigators say a GMC Sierra traveling south crossed into the northbound lane and collided head-on with a Dodge Ram.

According to troopers, the driver of the Dodge Ram, who was not identified, died at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
