GDC: 12 inmates charged in Washington State Prison deaths

GDC says the investigation remains ongoing.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Twelve inmates have been charged in connection with a deadly “disturbance” earlier this year at Washington State Prison, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections.

All 12 inmates are charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, gang participation and unlawful acts of violence in a penal institution.

The inmates charged are:

• Christopher Bonner
• Christian Brown
• Aquinas Bush
• Brandon Drummond
• Versache Evans
• Eric Howard
• Bryce Sims
• Javarius Spaulding
• Jacorey Streeter
• Paul White
