Macon woman in critical condition after shooting on Crestview Drive

A woman is in critical condition following a shooting late Sunday night in Macon, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT-DT)- A woman is in critical condition following a shooting late Sunday night in Macon, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded just before 11 p.m. to reports of a person shot in the 1800 block of Crestview Drive. When they arrived, they found a 24-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound.

Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital, where she is currently listed in critical condition.

The incident remains under investigation.
