To get the week started is the coolest afternoon Middle Georgia will see this week. It may also be the cloudiest as a mix mid and high-level clouds will stick around through the evening. Overnight should be mostly clear with temperatures likely to drop into the mid to upper 50s ahead of the sunrise on Tuesday. The wind will be light from the south-southeast.

More sunshine is likely Tuesday with more heat to go along with it. Temperatures will mostly peak in the upper 80s however a couple of spots reaching 90 is possible. The wind will be light out of the southwest.

Overnight will be clear and mild with temperatures likely to valley in the upper 50s across most of the region. The warmest spots will likely stay above 60 degrees.

More spots will likely reach 90 degrees starting on Wednesday with 90s becoming more common over the back half of the week. At this time rain is not expected as the week rolls forward with the only chance currently looking to be a stray shower or two next Sunday with the passage of a cold front.
